Seriously though people pooping in their pants over “Yahoo’s gonna destroy Tumblr now” as though there wasn’t already a comical amount of hate towards the developers.
Like, last week, I saw a photoset of the new “share directly via email” feature attached to a fail gif
and the whole Fan Mail thing
and making you unable to reblog yourself
and the fact that you gotta jump through all these hoops now to avoid greyboxing in anything but text posts
and putting ads in the app
like if we backdated the Yahoo purchase by a year all of the above things would be totally denounced as Yahoo ruining Tumblr but come on people
introducing dumb new features nobody needs or crippling cool features that everyone uses is business as usual
